  Why digital conveyancing

Conveyancing is a necessary part of the process of buying and selling a property. It has always been an intensive paper driven transaction.
Brett Hayton, inventor of the 247 system, created the digital alternative. After working in the industry for over 15 years he saw that there had to be a better alternative. From a law clerks perspective there is little joy in shuffling and collating paper contracts and vendor statements in preparing for an auction or private sale. The 247 system evolved from the creation of the digital contract. We believe that giving agents access to legal documentation online is smart thinking. Extending this to the members of the public is a logical progression.

As the person selling your property you want the agent to have the legal documentation prepared quickly to prepare for the marketing campaign. You want your agent fully informed. You want your buyers to have ready access to the legal documentation not just so they can complete their inquiries but also so they can make you an offer. By using 247 Legal this is achieved. Any delays in the delivery of documentation can cost you a sale. 247 is faster, its online and gives your agent and buyers instant access to all the required legal documentation.
Agents
All real estate agents are automatic members of 247 Legal. Agents have secure username and password logins to have access to view, print and download documentation.

    Buyers have been frustrated for too long in not having ready access to legal documentation such as the Vendors Statement. And for too long when it is made available the document is faxed and it is often in excess of 30 pages. And then it is too hard to read.
    Now by using the 247 system all the information is published online. As soon as the information is available to the agent it is now available to you. If you only want to look at the plan of subdivision then you simply click on the link to the document. If you want your lawyer to check any aspects of the property they also have immediate online access.

    The advantage of the 247 system over the current system is the incredibly time consuming photocopying and collating of documentation that has always been part and parcel of conveyancing together with the inevitable paper wastage is now no longer necessary. Documentation can therefore be provided to real estate agents faster than ever before satisfying both the agent and the vendor.
    Certificate ordering, contract and vendor statement preparation can now all be done online. Once you have completed the documentation the agent can simply download and print the documents.
    With the forthcoming introduction of the Victorian State Government electronic settlement system Lawyers will then enjoy the benefits of an end-to-end digital electronic conveyancing system.
